"After rain..." - one of my recent oil painting that took me 15 days to create it and another 15 days to dry! It has a thick layer of paint, but so vibrant and delicate the same time!
800×600mm - unframed
This painting feels like the memory of a summer garden just after rain — soft, untamed, and quietly alive. The flowers seem to emerge from the misty blue light as though they’ve been discovered rather than painted, each one carrying its own small story.
The deeper shadows around the edges create the feeling of stepping into a hidden place, somewhere peaceful and untouched, where time slows down and the air is filled with the scent of damp earth and blossoms. Splashes of crimson, violet, and golden yellow drift through the canvas like fleeting moments of joy — the kind you only notice when you finally stop rushing.
There’s a gentle sense of mystery in the piece, as though the garden is holding onto secrets from countless evenings of twilight walks and quiet thoughts. It invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and wander through their own memories of nature, light, and stillness.
